About The Position

Provide professional nursing care through the nursing process. Meet the needs of the patient, family, and multidisciplinary team through communication, coordination, and evaluation. Comply with all policies and procedures, nursing standards of practice, and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

Current licensure in the State of New Jersey.
American Heart Association BLS required.
American Heart Association ACLS required within 3 months of hire.
Dysrhythmia required within 3 months.
One-year minimum nursing experience.
Demonstrates proficiency in placing and confirming physician orders, retrieving and printing results, sending messages, transferring and discharging patients from the system.
Knowledgeable and utilizes Cerner and unit specific computer systems.
Able to electronically access medication profiles and education materials.

Nice To Haves

Enrolled in a BSN or MSN program from an accredited school of professional nursing within six months of hire or rehire and graduate on or before the third employment anniversary date into a nursing position.
BSN or MSN graduates preferred
Endoscopy experience preferred.
National certification in area of specialty preferred.
