About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for a fast-paced General Surgery unit. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with strong Medical Surgical experience who thrive in a collaborative acute care environment. The unit is a 39-bed General Surgery unit with all-private rooms and provides specialized care for General Surgery patients, ENT procedure patients, and Medical overflow patients. It is described as a team-oriented and supportive nursing environment with a strong clinical foundation in Medical Surgical Nursing.
Requirements
- Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License required
- BLS Certification through the American Heart Association required
- Diploma in Nursing required
- Medical Surgical nursing experience required
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Deliver culturally competent and age-specific nursing care
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment and recovery plans
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and confidentiality
- Follow ANA Code of Ethics and Ohio Nurse Practice Act standards
