About The Position

VitalCore Health Strategies is hiring Registered Nurses at the Massachusetts Treatment Center in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. The RN provides quality care within the scope of practice established by the state nurse practice act, delegates and supervises nursing activities appropriate to other personnel’s scope of practice, and is accountable for the quality of care delivered. Requirements

Nursing degree from an accredited college or university, or graduation from an approved RN program.
Current nursing license in the state.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions and side effects.
Record patients’ medical information and vital signs.
Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients’ conditions.
Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
Modify patient treatment plans in response to patients’ conditions and responses.
Monitor patient care, including diet and physical activity.
Direct or supervise less-skilled nursing or healthcare personnel, or supervise a unit.
Prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments.
Instruct individuals, families, or groups on health education and disease prevention, and develop health improvement programs.
Prepare rooms, sterile instruments, equipment, or supplies, and maintain supply stocks.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient conditions.
Attend required training and meetings.
Delegate and supervise nursing activities and functions consistent with personnel’s scope of practice.
Promote a safe environment and advocate for quality patient care.
