About The Position
BrightStar Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a key clinical team member delivering high-quality care throughout Cuyahoga, Lorain, and Medina counties. This role supports new client admissions, urgent staffing needs, skilled nursing visits, and ongoing case management. We are looking for a flexible, dependable nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about providing exceptional patient care.
Requirements
- Current unrestricted Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Minimum three (3) years of clinical nursing experience
- Minimum one (1) year of case management experience
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
- Ability to travel throughout assigned service areas
- Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and other pre-employment requirements

Responsibilities
- Infant pediatric care
- Seizure monitoring
- Total assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including: Bathing, Dressing, Feeding, Toileting, Medication administration, Mobility assistance and transfers
- Perform initial assessments, reassessments, and safety evaluations
- Deliver skilled nursing services including wound care, injections, infusions, and other treatments within RN scope of practice
- Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes appropriately
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
- Develop and maintain individualized Plans of Care
- Coordinate care with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Support client admissions and transitions of care
- Ensure compliance with agency, state, federal, and Joint Commission standards
- Conduct supervisory visits and competency assessments
- Provide clinical guidance and education to caregivers and nursing staff
- Support quality assurance and chart review activities
