About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care in the Emergency Department using the nursing process and in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. The role serves patients from neonates through older adults and reports to the Director or Manager of the Department. The position is full-time on nights at Highpoint Health Riverview, a 25-bed hospital in Carthage, Tennessee.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• BCLS certification.
• Frequent standing, walking, lifting or moving patients, and repetitive hand and arm movements.
• Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex; occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• ACLS certification.
• PALS certification.
• Handle with Care certification.
