Registered Nurse ED FT 7p-7a
About The Position
MacNeal Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for its Emergency Department. The department is a Level II Trauma Center with two dedicated trauma resuscitation rooms in a 26-bed Emergency Department, and is Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics (EDAP). Nurses work in a fast-paced environment using an acuity-based staffing model and care for a wide range of patients and diagnoses, providing opportunities to develop and advance nursing skills. The position is full-time on a 12-hour night shift, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Requirements
- Degree from an accredited school or college of nursing: BSN or ADN.
- BLS Provider certification accredited by the American Heart Association, required prior to hire.
- Illinois Board of Nursing license, required prior to hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to a wide range of patients and diagnoses in the Emergency Department.
- Participate in care delivery within a fast-paced, acuity-based staffing model.
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care.
