About The Position

The Registered Nurse will support the Children’s Needs Assessment Clinic at Murdoch Developmental Center. The role assists with the overall assessment process, coordinates and runs clinic appointments, and completes associated documentation. These duties are the nurse’s primary responsibility and are carried out in close collaboration with the Assessment Clinic Coordinator. As time allows or in emergent situations, the nurse will also assist in a residential professional nurse role. All Murdoch Center employees are designated as essential during adverse weather and emergency events.

Requirements

• Be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina or in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state.
• Pass Healthcare Provider CPR and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention written and physical requirements as a condition of employment.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Be in good standing with the North Carolina Health Care Personnel Registry.
• Complete pre-employment drug testing and criminal record background checks.

Responsibilities
