About The Position

Leidos QTC Medical Group is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our team at locations throughout the Northern Virginia area, providing important healthcare services to employees and their family members in support of a federal intelligence agency customer. This position provides occupational health, preventive care, travel medicine, and emergency response support within a secure federal healthcare environment. Candidates must currently possess or be eligible to obtain a Top Secret clearance with polygraph.

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a critical care setting such as Emergency Department, ICU, Trauma Center or PACU
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an Occupational Health setting; may be combined with the 5 years of critical care.
  • Passing the NCLEX-RN (National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses)
  • State nursing license valid in Virginia
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) Certifications
  • Must currently possess or be eligible to obtain a Top Secret clearance with polygraph

Responsibilities

  • Triage and assess adult and pediatric patients with minimal oversight to include responding to emergency situations
  • Assist with any/all of the following: Vital Signs, Travel Medicine, Collection of urine specimens, Occupational health services, Preventive Health screenings, Spirometry (PFT), Audiology, Phlebotomy, Vaccine administration
  • Work individually and in a team setting, as needed, rotating to multiple clinics within the Western Metro Area
  • Provide support with chart reviews/documentation, scheduling and confirming appointments, answering phones, patient check-ins, and other clinic functions
  • Work independently as needed to achieve day-to-day objectives
  • Coordinate with other medical staff as needed and communicate with internal and customer team members
