About The Position
As a Registered Nurse at University Home Care Inc, you will provide compassionate and professional nursing care to patients in their home environment. You will play a vital role in assessing patient health, developing care plans, administering medications, and coordinating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The schedule is the following: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday 12 to 16 hour shift starting in the morning.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
- Minimum of 1 year nursing experience, preferably in home health or related setting.
- Strong clinical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ health status and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
- Monitor patient progress and document all nursing care activities.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease management.
- Ensure compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards.
