About The Position

The Clinic Registered Nurse provides direct patient care using the nursing process and applicable scope and standards of practice. The role calls for critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced clinical environment. Clinic nurses provide compassionate, patient-centered mental health care and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• Current state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 14 days of hire.
• One year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan-of-care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other specialized medical care.
• Document patient care in a timely and accurate manner.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial or spiritual support needs.
• Assess learning needs and provide age- and culture-appropriate education to patients and families.
• Advocate for patients’ physical and emotional well-being.
• Participate in unit and organizational performance improvement and required continuing education.
• Provide quality patient care and work other shifts or units as needed; may be assigned on-call.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
