RN NICU PT Days
About The Position
Seeking a Registered Nurse for a Part-time (24 Hours Weekly), Days (7am-7pm) position in the NICU at Baptist Health Floyd. This role is benefit-eligible and offers a sign-on bonus for experienced external candidates. The RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for patients from admission to discharge, functioning as an on-shift team member to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers. The NICU provides level II care to infants as early as 32 weeks' gestation or 1,500 grams and above, with 6 rooms. Nurses treat Vapotherm and bubble CPAP ventilated patients up to 24 hours, administer PPN, manage umbilical and central lines, and provide NAS monitoring and care. The NICU also accepts readmit infants from home for up to 30 days. The department has three Neonatal NPs on staff, with at least one available 24/7.
Requirements
- Current Indiana or compact state RN License.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
- NRP certification required (obtained within 6 months of hire).
- S.T.A.B.L.E certification required (obtained within 1 year of hire).
Nice To Haves
- Previous NICU nursing experience preferred.
