About The Position
Kid's Thrive Dayton is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a full-time day shift. The RN will provide safe, high-quality patient care while collaborating with physicians, clinical staff, patients, and families to support positive outcomes.
Requirements
- Current and unrestricted RN license.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Strong assessment, communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Nice To Haves
- Previous clinical nursing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established standards and clinical protocols.
- Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and recognize changes requiring intervention.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and members of the interdisciplinary care team.
- Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, care plans, and follow-up needs.
- Promote patient safety, comfort, dignity, and privacy at all times.
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, infection-control standards, and applicable regulations.
- Participate in quality-improvement and patient-safety initiatives.
