About The Position

US Heart and Vascular is in need of a Registered Nurse to join our team at Brimingham Heart Clinic located in Birmingham, AL Responsibilities: Patient assessment, procedural support, monitoring sedation, documentation, and maintaining regulatory and safety standards. Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing outpatient interventional or procedural treatments within the OBL. Prepare patients for procedures including reviewing medical history, obtaining vital signs, and confirming consent. Administer medications and monitor moderate sedation when appropriate. Provide post-procedure care, discharge instructions, and follow-up communication with patients. Maintain stock medications, medical supplies, and procedural equipment. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards. Maintain narcotic logs and medication inventory. Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alabama
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Nice To Haves

  • PACU, Cath lab, ambulatory experience but not required.
