About The Position

Overlake Medical Center is seeking a .9 FTE Registered Nurse for their Medical Unit (West 4). West 4 is a 40-bed Medical unit that trains staff to care for a diverse population of medical and overflow psychiatric patients. This unit offers growth opportunities for advancement into critical care areas.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington (or a multi-State license from a Compact state).
• Healthcare provider CPR Certification.
• Proof of full COVID-19 immunization required before the first day of employment.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.
• One year recent Medical or Surgical nursing experience preferred.
• One to two years of subacute care experience would be considered.

Responsibilities

• Care for a diverse population of medical and overflow psychiatric patients.
• Take a rhythm assessment in the first week if the unit requires cardiac rhythm interpretation competency, including standard cardiac rhythms, dysrhythmias, and paced rhythms.
