The Registered Nurse in the Nursing Resources/Float Pool at Billings Clinic’s Main Campus uses the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to promote and maintain health. Under general supervision, the RN applies theoretical and clinical skills and evidence-based nursing practices consistent with national standards to support quality outcomes. The role carries responsibility and accountability for the quality of nursing care, directs patient care plans, and maintains professionalism. This is a full-time, 0.9 FTE day-shift position, averaging 72 hours every two weeks, and is non-exempt. Starting wage is $38.91–$61.21, depending on experience. The role may be eligible for a $20,000 sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and tuition loan repayment. Billings Clinic is a community-owned, not-for-profit, physician-led health system based in Billings, Montana. It has more than 4,700 employees, including over 550 physicians and non-physician providers, and includes a multi-specialty group practice and a 304-bed hospital. The organization is Magnet-designated and emphasizes teamwork, kindness, safety, courage, and inclusive, equitable treatment. Full-time employees working at least 24 hours per week receive a benefits package that includes medical, dental and vision coverage, a 403(b) retirement plan with employer matching, a defined contribution pension plan, paid time off, and an employee wellness program. ASN-prepared RNs with fewer than five years of RN experience must commit to completing a Bachelor of Nursing degree within four years of hire; Billings Clinic offers financial assistance toward the cost.
