Registered Nurse (RN) - Rheumatology Infusion
About The Position
Provides holistic, quality, and cost-effective nursing care for patients, families, and/or others within a unit, service, or other primary area of practice, with awareness of the episode of care. Applies the nursing process within the context of the organization's Framework for Professional Practice, functions as clinically competent, and delegates and supervises work appropriately. The position is in Rheumatology Infusion at Hartford Hospital and reports to the Unit Manager. New graduates require one year of experience to become competent and must complete an orientation to assess progress.
Requirements
- RN Connecticut license. For new registered nurse graduates, evidence of transcript or completion of a nursing education program is accepted pending licensure within 90 days after graduation, pursuant to Section 20-101 of the Connecticut General Statutes.
- Nursing education: RN diploma, associate degree, BS in Nursing, or BS/BA in a non-nursing field.
- New graduates require one year of experience to become competent and must complete an orientation to assess progress.
