Registered Nurse - Operating Room
About The Position
Registered Nurse position in the Operating Room. The facility offers GYN, general, orthopedic, orthopedic spine, neuro spine, urology, and plastics surgical service lines. The nurse may float within the facility and scope of practice, and to Piedmont Columbus Midtown if needed. Weekend work is every other weekend unless otherwise specified, and call requirements depend on the candidate’s skill set. Candidates must complete full compliance requirements to start on time. If compliance is not completed in time, the start will be pushed back two weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. Non-billable orientation hours are determined by contract length (for example, 8 hours for an 8-week assignment or 10 hours for a 10-week assignment).
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience.
- Full compliance must be completed to start on time.
- Clinical review and approval to determine clinical fit, followed by manager review for final decision if the candidate passes clinical screening and meets Piedmont guidelines.

Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the Operating Room across the listed surgical service lines.
