About The Position

Auburn Homes and Services of Waconia, an Illuminus Community, provides assisted living, memory support, short-term rehabilitation, and long-term skilled nursing care to older adults. The community has served Carver County since 1928 and strives to empower residents to live with purpose and passion.

The Registered Nurse identifies, provides for, and accepts responsibility for fulfilling residents’ total nursing needs. The role includes nursing practice activities such as assessments, medication administration and monitoring, and documentation, while ensuring person-centered care. The organization seeks nurses who are passionate about working with older adults, take initiative in service of others, and provide holistic, compassionate care.

The posting lists full-time and part-time employment, and also describes casual positions. Shifts are available in the morning, afternoon, or overnight. Starting pay is $42.76–$46.48 per hour. Benefits may vary by employment status.

Requirements

• Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota.
• Active CPR certification (BLS Healthcare).
• Knowledge and/or experience in geriatrics.
• Knowledge and/or experience with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Identify, provide for, and accept responsibility for residents’ total nursing needs.
• Perform nursing practice activities, including assessments, medication administration and monitoring, and documentation.
• Ensure the provision of person-centered care.
