Registered Nurse
About The Position
DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its outpatient dialysis team, providing care to patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney conditions. Dialysis experience is not required; paid training is provided. The role involves hands-on care in a fast-paced setting, building long-term patient relationships, and applying broad nursing skills while caring for medically complex patients. The schedule is flexible and includes mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The nurse may float to nearby clinics, and training may take place at a clinic other than the assigned home location.
Requirements
- RN license in the state of practice.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Reliable transportation for potential floating.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg.
- CNN or CDN certification.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in an outpatient dialysis setting.
- Monitor patients, manage treatment plans, and respond to changes in health.
- Collaborate with a clinical team, including Patient Care Technicians.
- Educate patients and families about kidney health and treatment options.
- Float to nearby clinics as needed.
