About The Position

Atrium Health General & Colorectal Surgery Pineville is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Ambulatory Nursing team. This full-time position involves providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, ensuring safe and therapeutic care in accordance with established standards. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, and communication to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience. The clinic offers specialty and sub-specialty surgical care, including pre-operative consultations, postoperative care, and follow-ups for conditions like inguinal hernia, gallbladder disease, ventral hernia, umbilical hernia, anorectal diagnosis, inflammatory bowel disease, and colon & rectal cancers. The team also supports postoperative care for acute care surgery patients from Atrium Health Pineville. The position is part of the One Advocate Nurse community, committed to innovation, inclusivity, and redefining care.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience is preferred.
  • BSN preferred
  • Prior ambulatory and surgical experience preferred
