About The Position
Mid Atlantic Retina is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient care. This role involves conducting patient assessments, performing diagnostic testing, triaging patients, and educating them before and after procedures. The RN will also administer IV medications or dyes, analyze lab results, administer vaccinations, and maintain electronic medical records. Collaboration with physicians is essential for providing excellent patient care.
Requirements
- Active RN license in PA
- 6 months IV experience
- 1 year healthcare work experience
- Active CPR/AED certification
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care by conducting patient assessments
- Perform diagnostic testing
- Triage patients
- Provide patient education before and after procedures
- Administer medication or dyes through IV
- Analyze lab results
- Administer vaccinations
- Complete documentation in the electronic medical record
- Work and communicate with physicians to provide excellent patient care
