About The Position

Indiana University Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Glen Lehman Endoscopy unit. This position is full-time, days. The registered professional clinical nurse (RN) is responsible for providing and coordinating proficient, evidence-based care, including assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN participates in decision-making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to advance the patient plan of care and improve operational efficiency. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment is a requirement. Previous experience is preferred, but candidates with experience in procedural, labor and delivery, cath lab, or endoscopy will be considered. Requirements

  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN).
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Previous experience as an RN.
  • Experience in procedural, labor and delivery, cath lab or endoscopy.

  • Accountable and responsible for the provision and coordination of proficient, evidence-based care along the care continuum, which includes assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
