About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care within a correctional healthcare environment. This role involves delivering, documenting, and evaluating nursing care tailored to individual patient needs while adhering to established clinical standards and facility policies.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience
• Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in correctional healthcare or a similar high-acuity environment
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for incarcerated patients
• Administer treatments and medications as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Respond effectively to medical emergencies within the correctional setting
• Uphold professional nursing standards, policies, and procedures
• Ensure patient safety while working within a secure environment
