Registered Nurse (RN) - Tele Med/Surg - Weekend Option
About The Position
Community Howard Regional Health in Kokomo has an opportunity in its Telemetry Medical/Surgical (TMS) unit. The Registered Nurse demonstrates performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, and performance, the Nurse Practice Act, and the organization’s mission and goals. The nurse manages patient care across the healthcare continuum to achieve optimal outcomes safely and cost-effectively, and demonstrates skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation, and resource management. The TMS unit is a mixed medical-surgical inpatient unit with a 30-bed capacity. All beds can support telemetry monitoring, and the unit is Howard Regional’s designated Stroke Unit.
Requirements
- Graduate of a nursing school accredited by NLN, CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA, or have three years of related professional nursing experience.
- Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Indiana, as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
