About The Position
Dakota Alpha is a 20-bed skilled nursing facility in Mandan, North Dakota, specializing in rehabilitation for people with traumatic brain injuries. The facility is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse who supports residents with compassionate, dignified, person-centered care and helps them regain independence. The RN provides and oversees medical care, promotes residents’ health and independence, supervises nursing staff during assigned shifts, and communicates with physicians, families, and leadership about care needs. The position uses computerized systems for care documentation and follow-up. The schedule consists of daytime 12-hour shifts with alternating weekends.
Requirements
- Current North Dakota nursing license.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Desire to collaborate and work as an active, positive team member.
Responsibilities
- Provide and oversee quality medical care and ensure residents’ health needs are met.
- Support residents’ personal care and provide health education to promote independence.
- Supervise and guide nursing staff during assigned shifts.
- Administer and monitor medications and treatments, and manage medical supplies.
- Communicate with physicians, families, and leadership about resident care needs.
- Document care using computerized systems and ensure accurate follow-up.
