A registered professional nurse employed by Erlanger Health System practices according to the rules and regulations of the state Nurse Practice Act and Erlanger’s Models of Care/Practice, policies, and procedures. The nurse delivers assigned patient care and supervises qualified staff to whom patient care has been delegated, using independent judgment. The nurse provides primary care individually or as part of a team, addresses patients’ physical, spiritual, emotional, and educational needs, and coordinates plans of care with other healthcare professionals.
