About The Position

Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital is actively hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time temporary position on night shift (7p - 7:30a, 36 hrs/week, every other Saturday and Sunday) shift for a 6-month temp assignment. This position has the opportunity to become a full-time permanent position after the temp period. This is a 6-month temp-to-perm assignment with an hourly rate of $60 (plus shift differential, averaging $69/hr). Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital (LBHH) is a newly opened (July, 2018) 126-bed, inpatient psychiatric hospital and a joint venture between Lancaster General Health/Penn Medicine and Universal Health Services. The facility offers services for a general adult unit, a dedicated adolescent unit, a psychiatric-medical unit for co-occurring disorders, an intensive adult unit for severe conditions, and a women’s trauma unit.

Requirements

A valid State of Pennsylvania Nursing (RN) (Registered Nurse) License is required.
CPR certification is required upon hire and will be provided at orientation if needed.
Candidates employed by any UHS facility within the last 6 months are not eligible for the temporary position.

Nice To Haves

Previous psychiatric, behavioral or mental health nursing experience is helpful but not required.
