Registered Nurse - Jefferson Radiology, Per diem
About The Position

This role involves administering medications and interventions under the order of a Radiologist, providing post-care follow-up for patients who have experienced contrast reactions or other incidents, and maintaining/auditing the site emergency cart.
Requirements
- RN certified
- CPR, ACLS/BLS
- 5+ yrs. experience, preferably in Interventional Radiology, emergency/critical medicine and/or code team experience preferred.

Responsibilities
- Knowledgeable about and has ability to administer prescription medications (e.g. antihistamine, intravenous fluid, beta agonist inhalers, epinephrine) and other appropriate interventions under the order of a Radiologist with an audio/visual consult for contrast reaction emergency management.
- Provides post care follow up for patients that have had a contrast reaction and/or other type of incident (i.e. infiltrate, vasovagal response, fall, etc.).
- Maintenance, monitoring, and auditing of site emergency cart to include collaboration with managers and Quality to ensure supplies are checked, available, and appropriately labeled.
