About The Position

DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide dialysis care for patients with end-stage renal disease and chronic kidney conditions in a hospital setting. This fast-paced, collaborative role involves working directly with patients in ICU, CCU, ED, and other acute care units, and rotating between facilities as needed. Schedules include regular and on-call shifts, including weekends and holidays, and may change daily based on patient needs. The RN delivers inpatient dialysis therapies, collaborates with hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff, monitors patients and adjusts treatment, and supports and oversees patient care with the help of patient care technicians (PCTs).

Requirements

Dialysis experience is required.
Current RN license in the state of practice.
Associate degree in nursing (ADN) is required.
Must pass a color vision test; accommodations are available.
Full vaccination against COVID-19 may be required by hospitals in the program, which may include a booster when eligible.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
ICU, CCU, ER, or Med/Surg experience is helpful but not required.
CNN/CDN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver inpatient dialysis therapies, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis.
Collaborate with hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff.
Monitor patients, adjust treatment, and ensure quality outcomes.
Support and oversee patient care with the help of PCTs.
Adapt quickly in a dynamic hospital environment.
Work in a variety of hospital units and rotate between facilities as needed.
