About The Position

Join Baylor Scott and White Medical Center - Irving as a Registered Nurse in our fast-paced Labor and Delivery unit. This role involves caring for high acuity OB patients over 20 weeks gestation. Requirements

• Graduation from an Accredited Nursing Program.
• RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring certification required within 30 days of hire/transfer.
• 1.5 years (18 months) of Labor and Delivery/Antepartum RN experience, preferably in a level II or higher facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for OB patients >20 weeks gestation.
• Manage patient care in Labor and Delivery rooms (1:2 ratio) and OB Triage (1:2-3 ratio, contingent on acuity, phase of care, and census).
• Collaborate with intra and interdisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to a culture of safety and problem-solve in patient care.
