Requirements

Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained within 2 months of hire date.
Certified BLS Provider specializing in Basic Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 months of hire date.
Graduate of an approved professional (RN) nursing program.

Responsibilities

Coordinate a multi-disciplinary plan of care to ensure appropriate length of stay, resource use, and quality outcomes.
Provide patient care that respects individual rights, dignity, values, and cultural preferences.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, safety measures, and self-care.
Administer medications, IVs, and blood products according to established policies.
Monitor patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans as needed.
Collaborate with case managers to ensure appropriate referrals and discharge plans.
