Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Associate Degree in Nursing - ADN, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing - BSN).
  • Active, current, and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State Board of Nursing.
  • Current BLS / CPR certification (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers).
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English to ensure clear clinical documentation and patient safety.
  • Must fulfill required health screenings, including Tuberculin Skin Test (TST) verification as mandated by state guidelines.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in long-term care, post-acute care, rehabilitative, or geriatric nursing is preferred, but strong clinical foundational skills are welcome.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver efficient, high-quality, and effective nursing care to achieve positive clinical outcomes and high patient/family satisfaction.
  • Operate within the scope of practice defined by the State Nurse Practice Act and delegate appropriate care responsibilities to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
  • Manage comprehensive patient care through physical assessments, nursing diagnoses, care plan development, and interdisciplinary team collaboration.
  • Perform comprehensive clinical assessments, administer medications/treatments, and develop individualized care plans to optimize patient recovery and minimize re-hospitalizations.
  • Supervise and delegate care to LPNs and CNAs in accordance with state practice acts, fostering a supportive and safe clinical environment.
  • Work closely with attending physicians, interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families to manage care plans and ensure safe discharge planning.
  • Assist with the orientation, training, and clinical mentorship of newly hired nursing staff to support team growth.
  • Maintain accurate, real-time clinical documentation utilizing PointClickCare (PCC) EHR software.
  • Adhere to HIPAA standards, infection control protocols, and facility safety guidelines to maintain high-quality care.
