About The Position
Larksfield Place Retirement Communities is a premier senior living community committed to providing exceptional care, service, and engagement. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, resident-focused care in a collaborative and supportive work environment. This role involves assessing residents, developing care plans, administering medications, supervising nursing staff, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team. We are looking for a compassionate and skilled RN who is dependable, attentive, and passionate about serving older adults, particularly during 12-hour shifts and every other weekend rotations.
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Kansas.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm, compassionate, and effective under pressure.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or assisted living preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor residents' conditions, develop care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards.
- Provide guidance and supervision to LPNs, CMAs, and CNAs during your shift.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other members of the care team.
- Communicate regularly with residents and their families, offering updates and emotional support.
- Ensure documentation is accurate and timely in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies or changes in resident condition.
- Support and promote infection control practices and ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.

- 2nd Shift Differential (2:00 PM – 6:00 PM): +$2.00/hour
- Weekend Premium: +$2.00/hour
