About The Position

The Registered Nurse ensures the workflow of the clinical area and directs clinical staff to provide excellent patient care under the direction of physicians and/or advanced practice providers. The role may include maintaining logs and licensing for laboratory, CLIA, vaccines, and medication in accordance with regulatory guidelines, as well as managing the storage and inventory of clinical supplies. The nurse maintains close working relationships with physicians, advanced practice providers, the Medical Director, and management. The position provides direct patient care in a courteous, caring, respectful, and compassionate manner and documents accurately in the EMR according to licensure requirements and VMG policies and procedures. The nurse may be required to rotate to other VMG locations when necessary. The position is based at Montvale, 135 N Kinderkamack Rd, and is a full-time day-shift role.

Requirements

Completion of formal coursework equivalent to a minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing; a combination of relevant work experience and formal education may be considered.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a clinic or outpatient setting.
Current and valid New Jersey RN license.
Current and valid BCLS certification.

Strong orientation toward high-quality, cost-effective, comprehensive medical care.

Knowledge of computer and software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and an EMR.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Understanding of operations in a medical practice environment preferred.
