About The Position

Saint Luke's East is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for its Tier I Float Pool. The position floats among various Medical Intermediate units at Saint Luke's East and offers the opportunity to gain experience across these units while working with collaborative multidisciplinary teams and supportive leadership.

The nurse uses the nursing process to provide patient care, delegate care tasks, and supervise other patient care staff. The role coordinates care plans for assigned patients and consults with other healthcare team members as needed to support optimal patient outcomes. The clinical nurse is expected to demonstrate proficiency and follow applicable policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of applicable experience.
• Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Registered Nurse qualification.
• Associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process.
• Perform patient care.
• Delegate patient care tasks and supervise other patient care staff.
