Requirements

  • RN license in applicable state
  • BLS (AHA) required
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Typically 1+ year of clinical nursing experience preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Team collaboration, delegation, and leadership capabilities

Responsibilities

  • Use the nursing process to assess patient needs, plan and implement individualized care, and evaluate outcomes to ensure safe, effective treatment.
  • Partner with patients and families, building therapeutic relationships across the continuum of care.
  • Anticipate changes in patient condition, respond proactively, and adjust care plans as needed—collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
  • Implement evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety, reduce risk, and improve outcomes.
  • Assess patient and family readiness to learn and tailoring education to meet their unique needs.
  • Actively coordinate discharge planning, contribute to quality and process improvement initiatives, and incorporate nursing and regulatory standards into daily practice.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, and delegation skills, taking on leadership responsibilities while fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
  • Identify and respond to potential safety risks, report events appropriately, and support corrective actions to prevent harm.
  • Uphold ethical standards, promote respect across disciplines, and contribute to an inclusive, patient-centered care environment.
