About The Position

This is a part-time or per diem Registered Nurse position with a local DuPage County agency focused on helping the community. The role involves providing 1-on-1 skilled home visits, filling in facility staffing, and offering services such as port/PICC line care, TPN management, IV medication administration, wound care, and other skilled nursing services. The agency is described as the fastest-growing Care Team in and around Bloomingdale, IL.

Requirements

Current unrestricted RN license in the state of Illinois
At least 1 year of Registered Nurse Experience
Valid TB Test, CPR Certification, & Work Physical within the year
Understanding of regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations
Valid driver's license & vehicle with insurance

Responsibilities

Port/PICC line, TPN, IV Pain meds, and Fluids/TPN Medication Administration, Wound Care, Skilled Nursing services
Provide thoughtful care to client & patients based on personalized Plan of Care
Monitor and track changes in the client/patient’s conditions and needs, and keep the Director of Nursing and any other appropriate personnel informed
Proactively updates client/patients’ family on plan of care, health changes, and concerns
