About The Position

UPMC Family Hospice is hiring Full-Time Registered Nurses (RNs) for the Jersey Shore and surrounding area. This role offers the opportunity to provide one-on-one care in patients’ homes, build meaningful relationships, and enjoy a more sustainable pace of nursing; all with the stability, benefits, and growth opportunities of UPMC. Assignments are based on patient need and proximity to your home, with opportunities available across multiple communities.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
Active RN license (Pennsylvania or compact state eligibility)
CPR certification (AHA) within 30 days of hire
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and required clearances
Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse either in the state where the facility is located or in a state covered by a licensure compact agreement with the state where the facility is located OR TPP
CPR is required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

Deliver skilled nursing care to patients in their homes throughout assigned communities
Develop and manage plans of care in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary partners
Provide patient and family education that promotes independence and recovery
Complete required documentation (OASIS, visit notes, orders) electronically using a provided laptop
Contribute to high-quality, patient-centered outcomes while maintaining regulatory standards
