About The Position

Surge Rehabilitation and Nursing has Per diem opportunities for dedicated Registered Nurses to join their team. All shifts are available. RN's are responsible for the overall operation and optimal quality of care for the residents on the assigned unit. They must follow all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintain established standards of practice set forth by the facility's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Reliable transportation and demonstrate excellent work ethic.
• Must have excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care according to individualized needs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate the team.
• Comply with all state requirements and facility policies, procedures and standards of conduct.

Responsibilities

• Supports patient care delivery through routine tasks such as medication administration and ensuring continuity of care across all shifts
• Administers nursing care to the ill, injured or disabled residents.
• Monitors and reports changes in residents’ symptoms and behavior.
• Communicates and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team and or physicians.
• Guides the staff and ensures tasks are being completed
