This specific position is for a Registered Nurse in the Mother Baby Unit, Women's and Children's Program at the Credit Valley Hospital site.

Requirements

• Registered in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) or currently meet the eligibility criteria to register in good standing in the Temporary Class or General Class with the CNO
• Graduate of a recognized College or School of Nursing
• Current BCLS
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program certificate (NRP)
• Fetal Health Surveillance certification
• Breastfeeding course
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills and team work
• Demonstrates strong attention to therapeutic relationships and patient and family-centered care
• Computer literacy
• Satisfactory attendance and performance record

Nice To Haves

• Baccalaureate Degree preferred
• One year recent Obstetrical experience preferred
• Completion of an Obstetric Nursing Certificate Program from an accredited community college preferred
