About The Position

Florida Rehabilitation Hospital at Tampa, opening February 2025, is seeking a Registered Nurse to work in a new hospital featuring 60 private patient rooms and 2 rehab therapy gyms with cutting-edge technology. The position involves providing direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process, developing care plans in coordination with patients, families, and staff, communicating patient condition changes, and participating in discharge planning. The pay rate is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• Current state licensure as an Registered Nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable

Responsibilities

• Provides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.
• Develops nursing care plan in coordination with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff as necessary.
• Communicates changes in patient’s clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate.
• Participates in discharge planning process.
