About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Interventional Radiology unit. The ideal candidate has significant experience in Interventional Radiology and Electrophysiology (EP). The position requires a minimum commitment of 10 shifts per month, including alternating weekends. The patient ratio is 1:1. The nurse uses Interventional Radiology equipment and supplies and documents in Meditech. Surgical scrubs are provided.
Requirements
- Current ACLS certification.
- Current BLS certification.
- At least 2 years of nursing experience.
- Prior experience in Interventional Radiology and Electrophysiology (EP).
- Commit to at least 10 shifts per month, including alternating weekends.
- Flexibility to meet on-call needs, approximately 7–10 days per month.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to function independently.
- Preference for four 10-hour shifts per week.
Responsibilities
- Assist with interventional procedures, including angiography, biopsies, and catheter placements.
- Monitor patients’ conditions before, during, and after procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with the medical team to support optimal patient outcomes.
