RN - Psychiatric Registered Nurse
About The Position
MercyOne Genesis serves a 17-county bi-state region of the Quad Cities (Davenport and Bettendorf, Iowa, and Rock Island and Moline, Ill.) metropolitan area and the surrounding communities of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois. As an RN for the Behavioral Health Unit, you will provide and direct safe, effective, and culturally-competent mental health care for children through aging adult patient populations. Key accountabilities include assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care using critical thinking and evidenced-based practice; adherence to the Professional Practice Standards as defined by ANA. Active participation in quality monitoring and performance improvement activities is also expected.
Requirements
- No experience required
- Registered Nurse in Iowa
- Registered Nurse in Illinois within 1 year
- Basic Life Support
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
Nice To Haves
- Certified in Mental Health Nursing
- Baccalaureate in Nursing
