About The Position
Management & Training Corporation (MTC) is seeking an on-call Registered Nurse to join the clinical team at the North Central Correctional Complex in Marion, Ohio. The role provides experience across chronic care, emergencies, and other clinical needs. Shifts are 12 hours, scheduled as needed, either 6 a.m.–6 p.m. or 6 p.m.–6 a.m. MTC notes that nurses do not have to remain after their shift to complete paperwork.
Requirements
- Degree in nursing.
- Current, valid nursing license for the state of Ohio.
- Current CPR certification.
- Work within the Ohio State Board of Nursing Scope of Practice.
Responsibilities
- Attend daily sick call.
- Administer and record medications.
- Provide care for urgent cases as needed.
- Confer with a physician and refer inmates to the emergency room when required.
