Registered Nurse | Birth Center
About The Position
The Birth Center is a 44-bed unit at the St. Cloud Hospital and is the largest birthing center in Central Minnesota, performing approximately 2,900 deliveries a year. It is equipped to deliver outstanding care at every stage of pregnancy, with a mission to make labor and delivery as safe as possible, preserving the health of mother and infant. Patients cared for include infants from early to post term gestation and childbearing women and their families. Registered Nurses (RN) can choose to work within an OB Specialty they are passionate about – whether that’s low/high risk OB, postpartum including lactation support, and/or specialty newborn care. The unit has 24-hour OB and anesthesia presence.
Requirements
- Graduate from a nursing program
- Current MN RN license required
- BSN required within three years
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years of labor & delivery experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide care for infants from early to post term gestation and childbearing women and their families.
