About The Position

St. Luke’s Heart Rhythm Center is a service of St. Luke’s Clinic – Idaho Cardiology Associates. The clinic offers a wide range of services and are committed to providing expert care and treatment of heart arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation. The team specializes in electro-physiology procedures including cardiac ablations and implantable cardiac devices. This role supports General EP and participates in clinic nurse visits, device checks, and medication management. The nurse will provide direct patient care with running clinic procedures such as cardiac stress tests, pacemaker, and defibrillator interrogation checks. Responsibilities also include triaging symptoms by phone, evaluating and reporting results, and scheduling in-hospital procedures. Continued education/certification opportunities are available.

Requirements

Nursing Degree
1 years’ experience
Current RN licensure from the State of Practice
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.

Nice To Haves

Must obtain ACLS within 90 days of hire.
Prior experience in Cardiology setting.
Inpatient / Outpatient background is ideal.
