About The Position

NHC HomeCare Murfreesboro is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide home care nursing services. The RN uses the nursing process to identify and achieve patient goals through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse assesses physical, psychosocial, and environmental factors affecting patients’ health and develops comprehensive care plans to achieve desired health outcomes in a culturally comfortable manner. The RN collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to support personal care, medical care, and rehabilitation that promote patient health and well-being. The role also includes educating patients and caregivers about health care and disease management according to their needs and level of understanding, and documenting ongoing needs and understanding.

Requirements

Hold an unencumbered, current Registered Nurse license in the state where the HomeCare agency is located, or a compact-state license if applicable.
Have a minimum of one year of experience as an RN or professional nurse.

Home care experience is desirable.
