About The Position

Castor Home Health Solutions is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide one-to-one skilled nursing care to a teenager in the patient’s home in Peoria, Illinois. The role is a consistent evening shift from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with no overnight shift and one patient assignment. The case involves TPN administration and central line care, with case-specific training available. The nurse will help the patient remain comfortably at home while providing focused, individualized, compassionate, age-appropriate care and building a relationship with the patient and family. The case is described as consistent and long-term. Pay starts at $38 or more per hour.

Requirements

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Strong assessment and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Central line experience is preferred.
• TPN experience is preferred.
• Pediatric or private duty nursing experience is a plus, but is not required.
• Case-specific training is available for nurses who need it.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor TPN as ordered.
• Provide central line care and monitoring.
• Assess and monitor the patient’s condition.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Follow the individualized plan of care.
• Complete required nursing documentation.
• Communicate with the family and Castor clinical team.
• Provide compassionate, age-appropriate care.
