About The Position

Little Heroes Home is a group home treatment setting for latency-aged clients that specializes in trauma informed care. Little Heroes provides 24-hour comprehensive care including a full clinical staff, nursing staff, and direct care staff. This role offers an opportunity to work with adolescents in a setting outside of a hectic hospital environment, focusing on trauma-informed care and promoting healthy choices for youth.

Requirements

• Massachusetts RN license
• Maintains valid driver’s license as transporting students is required.
• Background and driving record checks will be performed.

Nice To Haves

• Residential program or mental health program experience preferred
• Experience working with specialized adolescent populations preferred

Responsibilities

• Educating and providing health care services to promote healthy choices that enhance youth's physical and mental well-being.
• Creating a safe and therapeutic community by providing oversight and attention around documenting and administering medications.
• Completing assessments to ensure the best treatment for youth.
• Helping youths and families navigate their medical needs and providing valuable skills for their next steps.
• Providing physical interventions and verbal de-escalations to provide the safest therapeutic atmosphere for students.
