Registered Nurse - Inpatient Psychiatry - Older Adult Unit - Full Time Nights
About The Position
Gracie Square Hospital is a leading behavioral health facility in New York City providing comprehensive, personalized healthcare. Through our affiliation with NewYork-Presbyterian and Weill Cornell Medicine, we deliver innovative treatments, helping patients achieve meaningful recovery and long-term well-being. The Registered Nurse will be working with the Older Adult Unit, individuals 65 and older with primary psychiatric disorders requiring acute inpatient treatment. You will perform various procedures and tasks that are essential to the delivery of top-notch patient centered care. You will help optimize the patient 's experience, as you provide support throughout the continuum of care and participate in initiatives focused on improving the performance of our nursing practice. You will work with the brightest minds in healthcare to make tomorrow better for countless human beings.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Current New York State RN license
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Excellent customer service skills
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of acute care RN experience in psych nursing
